📋 UK Visit Visa: Supporting Documents Checklist for the Visa Application Centre

When attending your biometric appointment at the UK Visa Application Centre (VAC), make sure you have the following documents ready:

✅ Essential Documents to Bring:

• Your current valid passport (must have at least 1 blank page)

• Appointment confirmation (printed or digital copy)

• Printed copy of your UK visa application form (optional but recommended)

• Original supporting documents, including:

  • Bank statements (last 6 months)

  • Employment or study letter

  • Proof of accommodation in the UK (e.g. hotel booking or host address)

  • Invitation letter (if visiting family or friends)

  • Travel history (previous visas or entry stamps)

  • Ties to your home country (property papers, family documents, etc.)

💡 If you uploaded your documents online, bring them as a backup in case the VAC asks to see originals.

🌍 Translation Requirements

All documents not in English or Welsh must be accompanied by a certified translation.
Each translation must include:

• Confirmation from the translator that it's accurate

• Translator’s full name and contact details

• Date of translation
